Glass Floor A creative client, Odette Thomas, first suggested this as a way to regain floor space omitted to let light from an upper floor skylight penetrate to a lower floor.  Glass is a fascinating material and, when appropriately designed can be quite capable of performing as a visually intriguing floor.
